OUR STORY

     Alma Alta didn't start as a business decision.  It started as a vision for a place that didn't yet exist — a mountain retreat that felt genuinely luxurious without feeling stiff, that connected guests to the landscape without sacrificing comfort, and offered the kind of quiet that's increasingly hard to find.

     Within five months of opening, Alma Alta earned Airbnb Superhost status, a 4.98-star rating, and recognition among the platform's Top 1% of homes—not by cutting corners on price, but by obsessing over every detail of the guest experience.  From the chef's kitchen and luxury linens to the sauna and espresso station, every detail was chosen with intention.  At Alma Alta, the mountain is the amenity.

     We're personally on-site for every turnover.  We've delivered firewood for the sauna during snowstorms, shoveled walkways late into the evening, and left handwritten notes and fresh flowers for anniversaries and celebrations — because guests who choose Alma Alta deserve hosts who care as much about their stay as they do.

     Everything in our listing is exactly as described — the views, the distances, the sleeping arrangements.  We'd rather underpromise than overpromise.
